GOLF COURSE
Texas' premier barrier golf course, Padre Isles Country Club was created in the early 1970's by Bruce Litrel. Because of the numerous restrictions placed on land by both government and the environment, it is likely Padre Isles will be the last golf course built on these beautiful islands just off the Corpus Christi shore on North Padre Island.
While the course is flat like most other seaside and link courses, it offers Members and Guests one of the most challenging rounds of golf in South Texas. With the ever present sea breezes and the dunes covered in deep natural grasses, some Members have likened Padre Isles Country Club "The St. Andrews" of Padre Island. Water is ever present at Padre Isles with 15 of the 18 holes featuring the challenge of strategically placed lakes.
Besides a great course, Padre Isles also offers a driving range, chipping green and putting green. The Golf Professionals at Padre Isles Country Club want to help you improve your golf game.
